From Fall 2006 through Spring 2013, I was instructor of record for courses in Precalculus, Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II at Orthopaedic Hospital Medical Magnet High School, Los Angeles Unified School District.  At the time, Orthopaedic Hospital Medical Magnet High School was a mixed-ability LAUSD magnet program, meaning that at least half of the enrollment lived in the local neighborhood– in this case, the South Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.  For the 2012-2013 academic year, I was also Chair of the Mathematics Department at Orthopaedic Hospital Medical Magnet High School.
